Caleb's Song PDF Print E-mail

Caleb loves all the animals on his farm, and he listens to their songs. But something isn't right. Caleb doesn't  have a song. He tries so hard to sing, but his song just won't come.

He asks his father and his father assures him that one day it would come. He asks his mother and she tells him how she got her song, then assures him that his song will come if he will just hope and wait.

This book is about hope and love and it's response to the object of our love. It is intended to help children of all ages understand the love and respect due their natural father as well as their Heavenly Father. The beautiful pictures, the togetherness of the family; especially the father and son, and the song in the back of the book are all about love and hope. The young family pictured in this book is a real family. This is a family who works together, plays together and prays together.

Caleb could have been a poster child, he is so photogenic, but instead loves being "Daddy's little boy", and thus patterns himself after the father who sets such a good example. The biblical admonition to "train your children up in the way you would have them go" (Proverbs 22:6) has been the prevalent thought of these loving parents, just as it is in the thoughts of our Heavenly Father.

Does Caleb ever get his song?
